As part of the "Saturday Children Series" of The Centaur, Montréal's #1 English theatre, Manuel plays the roles of Richelieu, Porthos and a couple more in James Barry's slapstick pantomime adaptation of Three Musketeers, directed by Simone Nichol. Subsequent shows on Nov. 21-22, 28-29 at the St. George Anglican Church, Montréal.

October 15th, 2009

Co-lead role in Teintes de bleu ("Shades of blue"), an absurdist short film directed by Jean-François Robichaud for the 10th anniversary of Kabaret Kino Montréal and screened the next day
as part of the 38th edition of the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma.

Supporting role in Fréquence ("Frequency"), an absurdist short film directed by Justin Sprecher for the 10th anniversary of Kabaret Kino Montréal and screened as part of the 38th edition of the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma.

 

October 11th, 2009

Co-lead role in L'homme le plus recherché ("Most wanted man"), a Godard-inspired short film directed by Didier Delfolie-Noulin for the 10th anniversary of Kabaret Kino Montréal and screened as part of the 38th edition of the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma.

 

September 12th to 15th, 2009

Participation in the "Indie Film Lounge" of the Reel World Foundation. TIFF festivities. New bonds with European filmmakers.
