Comedic play, by G. B. Shaw, with Manuel in five co-lead roles
Manuel Sinor is excellent. An acting tour-de-force. | | [Radio-Canada - Alberta - CHFA FM] |
The company of actors handle the dense text well, presenting us with a simply staged, intense, intriguing and often humourous summary of Shaw's ideas. | | [See Magazine] |
This cast of four is very skilled... 4-star rating !

Romantic comedy feature film with Manuel in the title role
Nomination for "Best feature" at the Alberta Film Awards 2008
Fitz is a perplexing hunk of masculine torment... the emotional shambles of his situation hover over Sinor’s performance as though Fitz will never make a decision; when he finally does, it’s as though a sense of oneness has been achieved. | | [Vue Weekly] |

Manuel was my first and only choice for this challenging role.
Manuel did not disappoint me. Stretching my boundaries as a director, he began by asking me what Fitz would read, what music he was into. From day one, I could tell that he wanted to create a character completely different from his own persona. As the production went on, I saw him dig into his lines in great detail, change his mannerisms, rethink his own morals, in short ... made Fitz come alive. When you’re working with a small crew on a no-budget film, you surely need faith, and well Manuel helped me keep up that faith. Day in day out, he was well prepared, alert,
eager to perform. He never failed me.
Manuel has what it takes to present audiences with fulfilling characters, bringing a possibly mysterious feel at times. He also has, from what I’ve seen of him in this and other productions, what all directors hope to find in an actor: professionalism and dedication to any role. I have come to regard Manuel as a friend and I would gladly work with him again!

Dramatic play, with Manuel in 5 supporting roles
The Elephant Man does eminent justice to its source material.
A great way to end the season, and a major accomplishment
for all involved. | | [Vue Weekly] |

Manuel is a giving, enthusiastic cast member with one of the strongest work ethics of any stage actor I have known. He demands high professional standards for himself, pursues an open and direct dialogue with his director, and constantly looks to learn and improve wherever possible.
In my production of “The Elephant Man,” Manuel played a number of disparate roles, researching them with rigour, and performing them with passion and commitment. Manuel also brings a good sense of humour to the process, an engaging and theatrical physicality to his character work, and excels in the intricacies of language, structure, and thought.
It was an absolute delight to have him in my cast.
